Main Accountabilities:

• This role will be responsible for Operation, maintenance, and care of the relevant technologies available at R&D like UHT set up, Dry blender, homogenizer, wet mixer etc.
• Strong collaboration with product development & formulation scientist at R&D India, Germany & China.
• Planning & execution of lab/pilot scale trials as per agreed plan with product development team. Establish process parameters adapting guidance basis formulation design.
• Creation & preparation of trial and manufacturing instructions/documents and support in consolidation of trial report working with concerned product development scientist.
• Preparation and planning of raw material weighing, test production, support in raw material provision, managing trial samples as per agreed trial document.
• Manage maintenance of equipment in the laboratory & pilot plant in coordination with relevant internal & external experts.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of the creation of samples for clinical research, sensory test at inhouse set up and external CMOs.
• Accompanying R&D team in scale-up from the laboratory to the pilot plant or production/commercial scale.
• Ensuring raw material stocks via close coordination with product development team (ordering raw materials and collecting them, filling the storage containers, checking the shelf life, labeling the raw materials)
• Implementation and documentation of test equipment monitoring, maintenance work and physical-chemical measuring devices in accordance with applicable SOPs.
• Creation and maintenance of relevant SOPs, and WIs with support from R&D Quality.

Experience and Qualifications

• University degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology/Food Engineering/ Chemical Engineering.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferably in global FMCG, Food or Dairy industry. (Prefer candidate with relevant work experience).
