Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Marine Ticketing Specialist to join our team. This is a fully remote position ideal for candidates with a solid background in marine crew travel logistics. If you have a knack for sourcing the best travel deals and managing global crew travel arrangements, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
- Requesting quotations from various Marine travel agencies worldwide and successfully negotiating the best prices.
- Arranging international visas and other documentation for crew travel such as crew change formalities, CDC document verification, OK TO BOARD paperwork, etc.
- Building relationships with new marine travel agents and negotiating favorable terms.
- Creating implementing resourceful new ticketing strategies to reduce overall travel expenses and ensure more efficient travel booking procedures.
- Arranging accommodation transportation for crew members at arrival and departure ports.
- Coordinating with global port agents on crew travel requirements.
- Assist with corporate travel of in-house staff as needed.
Requirements
- Degree qualified with at least 5 yearsexperience at a reputed travel agency as a ticketing agent within the Marine sector OR as an in-house agent at a shipping company managing crew travel.
- IATA certified.
- Strong command over digital ticketing software online travel programs.
- Proficient working knowledge of Amadeus software is a MUST.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with thorough attention to details .
- Excellent command over verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines .
- Flexibility with working hours if necessary to manage tight crew ticketing schedules
- The scheduled date of joining is immediate for this position.
