ME (Manufacturing Engineering) in SMT

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Jr. Engineer / Engineer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SMT (Surface Mount Technology), UF (Underfill), and Backend Process, with a strong ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize processes. Key Responsibilities:

• SMT / UF / Backend Process Knowledge:
  Apply your knowledge of SMT, UF, and Backend processes to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance.
• SMT / UF Issue Analysis:
  Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to SMT and UF processes, identifying root causes and providing effective solutions.
• Solution Finding and Tracking:
  Demonstrate problem-solving skills by providing timely and efficient solutions, while also tracking their effectiveness to ensure long-term success.
• IPC Standard / Certification:
  Adhere to IPC standards and certifications for quality assurance, ensuring the highest level of manufacturing standards are maintained.
• SOP Preparation and Modification:
  Assist in the preparation and modification of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to align with evolving processes and industry best practices.
• Reflow Profile Tuning and Troubleshooting:
  Use your skills to optimize reflow profiles and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the reflow process.

Key Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of SMT, UF, and Backend processes
• Proficiency in SMT / UF issue analysis
• Strong problem-solving and solution-finding abilities
• Familiarity with IPC standards and certification
• Experience in SOP preparation and modification
• Expertise in reflow profile tuning and troubleshooting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
• 4-7 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
