Senior Finance Executive - India Payroll

 The Senior Executive Payroll will be responsible for processing the payroll for multiple global entities mainly India also assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filing. Working with teammates in the US, you will partner with teams and key business leaders across our global organization in order to support the success of the business, while maintaining healthy financial practices and controls.

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare and Process monthly payroll for India and other global facilities.
• Prepare Journal entries for payroll accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Reconcile payroll reports on monthly to ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile payroll Balance sheet accounts on monthly basis and ensure correctness of balances of each account.
• Remit Taxes, PF, ESI, PT and other statutory payments.
• Serves as primary point of contact for employee queries.
• Analyse and provide insights on payroll variances company wise and department wise.
• Assist in audit requirements in a timely manner.
• Work closely with HR and people operations team.
• Assist in filing monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes.
• Identify potential efficiencies in day-to-day work and implement automation tools/techniques.
• Assist with special projects and/or assignments within the department.

Who you are:

• Bachelor Degree or Masters in Finance / Accounting.
• CA intermediate completed or pursuing.
• 5 – 7 years experience in Accounting and with Payroll processing. 
• Experience in agile & fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with financial analysis and planning software applications (Intacct, KEKA).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel
• Ability to work closely and effectively in a team environment across all facets of the Company
• Has Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills, proven organizational skills and a capacity to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
