BTP Security Administrator

We are looking for an experienced BTP Security Administrator to oversee security operations for our SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment. This role will focus on security management, user administration, and provisioning, as well as configuration management, ensuring the platform's security, performance, and availability align with organizational standards.Key Responsibilities :BTP Administration and Security Operations :

- Manage daily operations of the Business Technology Platform (BTP) with a focus on security, ensuring optimal performance, and troubleshooting issues.

- Oversee user account management, including roles, permissions, and access levels within the BTP environment.

- Monitor system health and logs for security incidents, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of potential issues.Provisioning and Configuration Management :

- Handle provisioning of resources, including virtual machines, databases, and services within the BTP.

- Configure and optimize BTP components to meet security and operational standards.

- Work closely with cross

-functional teams to implement solutions tailored to specific project and organizational requirements.Security and Compliance :

- Develop, enforce, and regularly update security policies, procedures, and guidelines to protect the BTP environment.

- Implement and monitor security measures, conduct regular assessments, and perform risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities.

- Manage and configure IAS (Identity Authentication Service) and IPS (Identity Provisioning Service) for secure access.

- Implement security features like SSO (Single Sign -On) and MFA (Multi

-Factor Authentication).Collaboration and Support :

- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand security needs and provide appropriate solutions.

- Provide guidance and support on best practices for security management within the BTP environment.Required Skills and Experience :

- 5+ years in SAP security, with at least 2 years focused on BTP security administration.

- Strong knowledge of Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS) within SAP.

- Hands -on experience with SSO, MFA, and IAM best practices.

- Familiarity with security configuration, provisioning, and maintenance within SAP BTP.

- Proficiency in developing and implementing security policies and risk assessments.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem -solving skills, especially in a cloud -based environment.

- Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross -functional teams.Nice to Have :

- SAP BTP Security certification.

- Experience in cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.

- Familiarity with SAP security compliance standards and regulatory guidelines.
