1. He / She will provide full Medicare as per MCI and Government guidelines to all patients.
2. He/ She will provide leadership, planning, organisation, staffing and evaluation for all activities of the Department
3. He / She will provide the highest standards of care to Patients in Supervisory capacity including evaluation / diagnosis, treatment until successful discharge from the Hospital.
4. He / She will direct day to day functioning of the Department in accordance with the current standards, regulations and best practice guidelines.
5. He / She will directly supervise the clinical care of patients coming to Department and ensuring their proper disposal.
6. He / She will collaborate with professionals from various fields of specialization in the course of day to day work
7. He / She will guide the technicians in their clinical and assigned administrative and teaching duties
8. He / She will conduct regular training of technicians, Nurses and Other Staff as per BLS & ACLS principals and as & when required.
9. He /She will ensure departmental policies are known, understood and adhered to by the team including infection control, record keeping etc
10. He / She will monitor and ensure proper functioning of the departmental services run by the hospital.
11. Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals orally or by injection or inhalation.
12. Consistently monitoring patients' progress.
13. Explaining the imaging procedure to patients, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort while placing them in the appropriate position for scanning.
14. Operating imaging equipment, such as PET and SPECT scans.
15. Processing images on the brain, thyroid, bone, heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver on the computer.
16. Monitoring patients for unusual reactions to radioactive drugs.
17. Keeping detailed records of the amount and type of radiopharmaceutical used and of the procedure.
18. Producing computer-generated or film images for interpretation by the physicians.
19. Following safety procedures to protect staff and patients from unnecessary radiation exposure.
20. Maintaining and examining medical machines and imaging equipment.
21. Maintaining current knowledge of the frequent advances, innovations, and developments in the field
22. Collecting and notifying patient evaluation results to concerned Consultant.
23. Encouraged to undertake and participate in Research Activities.
24. Diagnoses patients with the aid of diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings.
25. He/ She will take interests in all clinical trainings / CMEs
26. He / She examines and treats disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system.
27. He/ She will abide by all the rules and regulations of this institution
28. He/ She will carry out other duties / additional duty if any assigned by the Zonal Director / MD / CEO.
29. He/She will participate in the hospital quality improvement programs.
He/She will perform clinical procedures as endorsed in the respective Privileging form.
