Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand customer base.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance metrics, such as sales revenue, customer acquisition cost, and sales team KPIs, and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, market trends, and competitive threats.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages to effectively communicate with customers and drive sales.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Continuously review and improve sales processes, methodologies, and tools to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales department budget, including expenses for personnel, training, travel, and promotional activities.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Proven Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic planning skills to develop effective sales strategies and tactics.
  • Sales Experience: Extensive experience in sales, with a track record of success in B2B or B2C environments.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiation techniques to close deals and resolve conflicts.
  • Results-driven: A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Team Management Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills to coach, develop, and motivate the sales team.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

Experience/Qualification:

  • Must have overall 10+ years of experience selling On-Demand, SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions or subscription-based products to a diverse customer base.
  • A Bachelor's and masters in administration are typically prerequisites for this role.
