Summary

The Accounts Team Lead owns the output and deliverables of his team. The role of an Accounts Team Leader is to ensure that his team delivers the promised service to his clients. He is responsible for knowing, and training his entire team, on processes and the specific promised service for each of his clients. He is responsible for providing domain as well as product (Third Party and Foresight products) expertise to his team and his clients. He is also responsible for implementing improvements to existing processes, encouraging clients to meet their obligations in processes, transitioning new projects into the team, identifying and building "specs" for innovation and automation opportunities, and assisting in pre-sales activities and demonstration of Foresight Services.

The Accounts Team Lead will communicate directly with his clients. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of his team, effectively utilizing existing resources, input to his Project Manager for the financial reviews of team members and day-to-day client services, and issue management.

The Accounts Team Leader reports into the Project Manager for client service issues, resource allocation, and financial reviews.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Good Knowledge of end to end accounting, financial statement preparation & finalization.
• Expertise on Reconciliation, Invoicing, Payables and Receivables processing.
• Preparation and analysing monthly financial statements, reviewing with CFO/clients and resolving their queries
• Preparation of weekly Cash Forecast for clients
• Review, processing and reconciliations of Payroll
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements like 1099, Audit requests etc
• Complete the assigned tasks accurately, completely, on time by following process checklists and documentation.
• Assist in project / process transitioning from new or existing clients
• Develop and maintain effective customer relationships (rapport)
• Working with team to manage and deliver the results through KPI
• Identify the areas of improvement and provide the necessary technical/operational support
• Identify process automation opportunities
• Transition management

Educational qualification:
Commerce graduate/MBA

Competencies:

• Sound Accounting domain knowledge
• 6+ years of experience accounting/Finance outsourcing company
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of working experience as Team Leader/Manager
• Experience on Quick books/NetSuite/Bill.com/Xero will be added advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in handling client calls, email communication with the client is must
• Experience in handling MNC Client (US/UK/Aus)

Software Expertise:

• Microsoft office Excel and word knowledge
• Quickbooks/Netsuite/Bill.com/Xero
