Lead and manage a team of SEO professionals. Provide training, mentoring, and conduct performance evaluation to continually improve the teams SEO knowledge and skills
Hire, onboard, and train new team members
Develop and implement processes to improve workflow, turnaround times, and quality control
Manage ticketing workflow and assign SEO tasks effectively
Ensure team output is accurate and aligned with SEO needs
Communicate regularly with the Core SEO team (US ET time zone) on status of tickets and broader team needs.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in SEO with at least 2 years in a managerial role
Experience performing SEO in a publishing or other content-focused role
