Google My Business Expert

Role & responsibilities

• Manage, optimize, and maintain Google My Business (GMB) listings for Canada-based businesses.
• Ensure GMB profiles are complete, accurate, and compliant with Google guidelines.
• Optimize business descriptions, categories, services, and attributes to boost local rankings.
• Handle Google reviews, Q&A, and customer interactions to enhance reputation management.
• Create and schedule GMB posts, offers, and updates to engage potential customers.
• Conduct regular GMB audits to identify and fix duplicate listings, suspensions, and other issues.
• Use Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and local SEO tools to monitor performance and track improvements.
• Implement local SEO strategies, including citation building and NAP consistency, to enhance rankings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GMB suspensions, ownership conflicts, and verification.
• Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and industry trends to apply best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3+ years of experience in Google My Business (GMB) management and local SEO.
• Strong understanding of Googles local ranking factors and best practices.
• Proficiency in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Maps.
• Experience in handling GMB listings for multi-location businesses.
• Expertise in review management, Google Posts, and customer engagement.
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve GMB suspensions, duplicate listings, and ownership conflicts.
• Knowledge of schema markup, citation building, and NAP consistency.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for client reporting and customer interactions.
