Job overview:
As our Manager LiveOps/NOC, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability and reliability of our infrastructure and systems during live games and tournaments. You will oversee incident response, problem management, and service reliability while driving operational excellence across the Junglee Games portfolio. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and a proactive mindset to minimize downtime, optimize workflows, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership Operational Excellence
Manage, mentor, and scale a team of NOC/LiveOps engineers (L1/L2 support), fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Drive adoption of SRE principles to reduce manual toil, automate repetitive tasks, and improve system reliability.
Coordinate 24/7 shift schedules and escalations for critical systems.
2. Incident, Problem Post-Incident Management
Own end-to-end incident response, ensuring rapid detection, resolution, and stakeholder communication.
Lead **Blameless postmortems**, document root cause analysis (RCA), and track corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Develop and maintain runbooks and automations to accelerate issue resolution and reduce MTTD/MTTR.
3. SLA/SLO Ownership Proactive Operations
Define, monitor, and report on SLAs/SLOs across the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Identify trends, gaps, and risks in service delivery; collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and implement corrective actions.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks using observability tools to prevent outages .
4. Observability, Automation Reporting
Design dashboards to monitor system health, KPIs, and SLA/SLO adherence.
Leverage data analytics to create executive-level reports and drive operational improvements.
Partner with Engineering/DevOps to implement automation for incident response, scaling, and self-healing systems.
5. SRE Mindset Efficiency
Champion automation to eliminate manual processes and reduce operational overhead.
Enable the team to focus on high-impact engineering tasks by optimizing workflows and tooling.
Continuously refine processes to improve system resilience and customer experience.
Qualifications skills required
Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience :
8+ years in NOC/LiveOps roles, with 4+ years in leadership positions.
Proven track record in managing outages, reducing MTTR, and conducting RCA/postmortems.
Hands-on expertise with ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
Technical Skills :
Proficient in Kubernetes, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS certification preferred).
Experienced with observability tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Coralogix, Grafana, and OpsGenie.
Skilled in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
Solid understanding of SaaS architectures and DevOps practices.
Soft Skills :
Exceptional communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Adaptable to fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
