Fluence is seeking a regional Service Sales Engineer to drive top-line revenue growth across Fluence Services
You will be the primary person responsible for assisting our regional deal teams in selling & contracting conventional service contracts
In this role, you will need to have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
Additionally, experience in asset management and a strong understanding of the energy services market will be beneficial to achieving success in this role
KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Understand Fluence regional growth strategy and execute according to that strategy
Sizing of BESS system and OPEX costing
Engage with key customers to identify new service opportunities
Negotiate commercial and technical aspects of customer contract(s) with Regional Sales, Commercial Project Management, Legal and Regional Service Leads
Lead the development of new service sales tools and support materials
Own data quality for all service sales items in Salesforce
Present to customers/partners & at events to communicate Service’s value propositions
Develop network and market knowledge of relevant electricity grids/markets
WHAT WILL OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE BRING TO FLUENCE?
>8 years of experience in engineering roles with a focus on the energy sector, preferably energy storage, clean tech, or renewables
Experience in BESS system

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
