Senior Software Engineer - Javascript/TypeScript (10-15 yrs)

Role : Senior Software Engineer : JavaScript/TypeScript/React (Smart TV SDKs)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React to develop and maintain Smart TV SDKs. This role requires a deep understanding of API engineering, SDK development, and design patterns. You will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly with Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV, Roku, and other Smart TV platforms.

Responsibilities :

SDK Development and Architecture :

- Design, develop, and maintain JavaScript-based SDKs for Smart TVs.

- Ensure the SDKs are optimized for performance, scalability, and seamless integration across multiple Smart TV platforms.

- Implement modern software design patterns to create modular and reusable code.

API Development and Integration :

- Develop well-documented APIs that allow third-party developers to integrate with the Smart TV SDKs.

- Ensure compatibility with different hardware, software, and third-party services.

Documentation and Developer Support :

- Create clear and detailed documentation, including installation guides, API references, and best practices.

- Assist developers by providing technical guidance and support for integrating the SDKs.

Testing and Debugging :

- Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and compatibility tests to ensure SDK stability.

- Identify and resolve platform-specific issues to maintain a consistent user experience.

Version Management and Updates :

- Manage version control and ensure backward compatibility with new SDK releases.

- Continuously improve SDK performance based on feedback and new Smart TV platform requirements.

Troubleshooting and Support :

Debug and resolve complex issues related to SDK performance, integration, and compatibility.

Work closely with customer support teams to address reported technical problems.

Keeping Up with Smart TV Trends :

- Stay updated on the latest Smart TV platform developments, APIs, and frameworks.

- Research and incorporate new technologies to enhance SDK performance and functionality.

Requirements :

- 10+ years of professional experience in software development, with expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Strong knowledge of React.js (good to have) and its ecosystem.

- Experience in SDK development and API engineering.

- Hands-on experience with Smart TV platforms, including Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV, and Roku.

- Strong understanding of design patterns for building scalable and maintainable applications.

- Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD workflows.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, especially for platform-specific issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
