Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical systems, including conveyor systems and associated machinery.
2. Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical issues in equipment and ensure minimal downtime.
3. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for repair and maintenance.
4. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, control panels, and other equipment components.
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company protocols during maintenance activities.
6. Maintain logs and reports on completed maintenance work, including recommendations for future repairs.
7. Collaborate with the mechanical maintenance team to resolve complex issues.
8. Suggest improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Preferred candidate profile

• 25 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
• Experience with conveyor systems or similar mechanical equipment is preferred.
