Job Description
- Design and establish manufacturing process / assembly process which involves selection of equipment, Jigs and fixtures for Filtration product manufacturing.
- Design and manufacture SPM /JIGs and Fixtures through outside vendors using Low-cost automation and electronic controls.
- Quality planning and Documentation of manufacturing/assembly processes. (PFD/FMEA/Control plan/WI SOP)
- Manufacturing Feasibility study of new or modified product.
- Make manufacturing processes reliable and capable (Understanding of fool proofing/Process capability Cpk is must) by conducting PPAP
- Use VSM methodology for productivity improvement.
- New product development as per Q/C/D requirement.
- Benchmarking of manufacturing processes worldwide for current mfg. processes new projects
- Quality planning for development of new products
- Resolution of quality and productivity problems
- Actions for capacity enhancement
- Correction on sudden failure
- SOP, SPEC Sheet and other document updation.
- P- tag resolution
- Process design, feasibility of product manufacturing, machine and accessory selection. Low cost automation.
- APQP, PPAP, FMEA,SPC, MSA , 6Sigma,Kaizen
- Manufacturing processes /assembly processes
- Concept generation for Tools Fixture designing,(knowledge of 2D/3D design software will be added advantage)
- Understand Low cost automation, PLC , sensors and other aids.
- Line balancing, Understand value stream mapping
- Understand lean manufacturing with scale-up/down possibilities.
- Project management for NPD tasks
- Problem solving skill
