As a Weightlifting Coach, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing weightlifting training programs for athletes of various skill levels
This position involves providing instruction on proper lifting techniques, creating customized workout plans, and fostering a positive and motivating training environment

Responsibilities:
Athlete Assessment:Evaluate athletes' current fitness levels, weightlifting techniques, and individual goals
Conduct initial assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
Training Program Design:Develop and customize weightlifting training programs based on individual athlete needs, skill levels, and performance goals
Incorporate periodization and progressive overload principles into workout plans
Instruction and Demonstration:Provide clear and detailed instruction on proper weightlifting techniques, including Olympic lifts such as snatch and clean and jerk
Demonstrate exercises, ensuring athletes understand and execute movements correctly
Motivation and Support:Foster a positive and motivating training environment to encourage athletes to reach their full potential
Provide encouragement, feedback, and support to athletes during training sessions
Safety and Injury Prevention:Emphasize and enforce proper safety protocols to reduce the risk of injuries
Monitor athletes for signs of fatigue or overtraining and adjust workout plans accordingly
Performance Analysis:Analyze athletes' lifting techniques, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback
Utilize video analysis tools to assess and enhance lifting form
Nutritional Guidance:Offer basic nutritional guidance to support athletes' training goals and overall performance
Collaborate with nutrition experts when specialized advice is needed
Program Monitoring:Track athletes' progress and make adjustments to training programs as needed
Conduct regular performance assessments to measure strength gains and technique improvements
Collaboration with Support Staff:Collaborate with sports scientists, physiotherapists, and other support staff to optimize athletes' training and recovery strategies
Attend team meetings and contribute to the overall sports performance program
