Job Description
- Lead and mentor a team of Research Associates, providing guidance and support
- Ensure the team delivers timely and accurate information to clients regarding legislative and regulatory issues
- Independently review and analyze policy documents to extract relevant information based on client needs
- Identify and analyze U.S. legislation and regulations that align with client interests
- Produce concise and informative U.S. legislative and regulatory summaries
- Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at FiscalNote
- Communicate effectively and promptly with colleagues and employees at FiscalNote
- Contribute to the documentation of policy areas and client priorities within the team

- A strong interest in the intersection of politics, policy, and technology
- Fast learning ability and adaptability to new tools and technologies
- Excellent independent research skills
- Ability to understand, analyze, and summarize complex issues concisely and in a timely manner
- Proficiency in synthesizing large volumes of qualitative data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with exceptional organizational abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Bachelors degree in international affairs or a related discipline is required
- Legislative Assistants to Members of Parliament (LAMP) Fellowship is highly preferred
