Principal Engineer - Development(JAVA, Microservices)

About Team Product/Project Details:

Our teams are working on redesigning and developing one of our top leading products. We follow agile methodology and using top notch technologies like JAVA, Angular, Kafka, Kubernetes. This new product will be cloud ready, user friendly, modern looking on top of all the cutting-edge technologies which will enable customers to leverage the scale and the performance of the cloud and at the same time provide them with great user experience.

What you will be doing (Shift Time Key Roles and Responsibilities):

• Understand the big picture and take part in architectural approaches for software design and implementation.
• Participate in and lead POCs for upcoming technically and/or functionally complex epics on the development roadmaps.
• Provide high level solution design for roadmap items, coordinating with other product architects and get the designs reviewed and completed together with them.
• Keep up with new and upcoming technology concepts and frameworks and apply them in the product to improve the product architecture in line with our go to cloud strategy.
• (Situational) Support the scrum teams to meet their delivery milestones by working within or next to the teams, especially in demanding client-driven deliveries.
• Provide technical leadership and supports the team with writing quality code, do code reviews for junior members in the team.
• Identify design issues, improvements and guide the team to adapt the code as per best practices and develop sustainable code.
• Ensure developed software meets all the requirements of quality, performance, scalability.
• Contribute towards creating and imparting high quality training (and material) to train new joiners in the team.
• Work in sprints - take part in design, development, unit testing and defect fixing of the product.

What you bring (Experience Level Mandatory Skills in potential candidate):

• Hands-on experience with Core Java 17+, Java EE, Spring, SQL, Angular 13+
• Good knowledge of Object-oriented concepts
• Can understand and apply suitable design patterns while designing/developing code.
• Should be good at problem solving and debugging with excellent analytical skills.
• Good team player
• Self-motivated and self-learner
