SAP ABAP Consultant (7-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain ABAP applications optimized for SAP HANA using SQL, stored procedures, and CDS Views.

- Design and implement OData services and SAP Gateway functionalities for data exposure and integration.

- Create and optimize Calculation Views for complex data analysis and reporting.

- Implement and manage data streaming solutions for real-time data processing.

- Analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance and efficiency on SAP HANA.

- Utilize HANA-specific features and techniques to improve application performance.

- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting to resolve bottlenecks.

- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.

- Debug and resolve complex technical issues and errors.

- Follow ABAP coding standards and best practices.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.

- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.

- Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to address client needs.

- Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for ABAP applications.

- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and user manuals.

- Document test plans, test cases, and test results.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and other stakeholders.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

- Participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant.

- Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA development.

- Proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, OData, SAP Gateway, and CDS Views.

- Experience with Calculation Views and data streaming.

- Strong skills in performance optimization and tuning.

- Experience with ABAP development and debugging.

- Understanding of SAP modules and business processes.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
