Power BI Developer - Power Query M/ETL (7-10 yrs)

Job Title : Senior Power Platform Developer with Power BI. Location - Hyderabad. Experience - 6+ years.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), and Power Portals.

- Build and maintain complex workflows, applications, and portals that meet business requirements.

- Integrate Power Platform solutions with various data sources, including SQL, SharePoint, and Dataverse.

- Implement and manage security roles, permissions, and data loss prevention (DLP) policies.

- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

- Design and implement data models using DAX and Power Query.

- Optimize Power BI performance and ensure data accuracy.

- Administer Power BI Service, including workspace management, gateway configuration, and data refresh scheduling.

- Implement and manage data security and access controls within Power BI.

- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.

- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations.

- Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize solution designs.

- Design and implement data integration strategies between Power Platform components and external systems.

- Ensure data quality and consistency across various data sources.

- Develop and manage data pipelines and ETL processes.

- Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for Power Platform solutions.

- Debug and resolve complex technical issues.

- Deploy and manage Power Platform solutions in production environments.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform deployments.

- Monitor and optimize the performance of Power Platform solutions.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability issues.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Power Platform components.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and deployment guides.

- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.

- Conduct training sessions for end-users and internal teams.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers.

- Participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

- Implement and enforce data security policies and procedures.

- Ensure compliance with data governance standards and regulations.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.

- Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and Power BI service administration.

- Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), and Power Portals.

- Experience integrating Power Platform with SQL, SharePoint, and Dataverse.

- Knowledge of data security, governance, and performance optimization.

- Proficiency in developing and maintaining complex workflows and applications.

- Strong understanding of data modeling and visualization principles.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -

Preferred Qualifications :

- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-300, PL-400).

- Experience with Azure services and cloud-based deployments.

- Experience with front-end development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).

- Knowledge of database management (SQL Server).

- Experience with agile development methodologies.

- Experience with Power Apps Portals advanced customizations.
