Senior Wealth Advisor
Overview
- A Senior Wealth Advisor at our Private Wealth Management firm is responsible for delivering personalized investment advice, financial planning, and wealth management services to Mass-Affluents and high-net-worth (HNW) clients.
- This role involves managing complex client relationships, overseeing portfolio strategies, and working collaboratively with internal teams to drive the highest levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and cultivate new client relationships through referrals, networking events, and professional partnerships.
- Participate in marketing and thought leadership initiatives to showcase the firm's capabilities.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and lead efforts to convert leads into loyal clients.
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Ma/HNW clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, focusing on trust, transparency, and personalized service.
- Proactively engage in regular reviews with clients to assess financial goals and recommend adjustments.
Financial Planning & Advisory:
- Conduct comprehensive financial needs analysis, including retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization, and risk management.
- Develop customized wealth strategies that align with clients' long-term objectives, risk tolerance, and liquidity needs.
- Review and update client financial plans to adapt to changing markets and personal circumstances.
Investment Management:
- Construct and manage investment portfolios using a broad range of asset classes (equities, fixed income, alternatives, etc.).
- Conduct ongoing portfolio reviews, performance measurement, and rebalancing based on market conditions and client objectives.
- Collaborate with internal research teams or external asset managers to leverage market insights and refine investment strategies.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of client interactions, financial plans, and investment proposals.
- Keep current with industry standards, compliance changes, and internal policies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree (MBA, MS Finance, etc.) preferred.
- Certifications: CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or other industry-recognized certifications strongly preferred.
- Licenses: Required NISM licenses, insurance licenses, where applicable.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory with a proven track record in managing MA/HNW client relationships.
