Position Overview :

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize machine learning models that solve complex problems within the fintech space. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to build scalable, data-driven solutions that deliver real business impact.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop Machine Learning Models : - Design and build machine learning models to tackle real-world financial challenges like price prediction, pattern recognition etc.

Model Optimization : - Continuously improve model performance through feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model selection.

Data Analysis & Preprocessing : - Clean, preprocess, and analyse large datasets, ensuring data integrity and quality for model development.

Scalability & Deployment : - Develop and deploy machine learning models to production using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). Ensure models are scalable, robust, and efficient.

Collaboration : - Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Experimentation : - Continuously test and validate models and algorithms, using A/B testing or similar methodologies to monitor and improve model performance.

Stay Current : - Keep up to date with the latest trends, research, and best practices in machine learning, AI, and fintech, and apply them to enhance the products and services we provide.

Qualifications :

Education : - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field. PhD is a plus.

Experience :

- 2+ years of experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or related role.

- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar.

- Proficiency in Python, R, or other relevant programming languages.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying and scaling models is a plus.

Skills :

- Strong understanding of ML algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning, etc.) and statistical methods.

- Solid knowledge of data structures, databases, and data preprocessing techniques.

- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is an advantage.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex, ambiguous data.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
