Finance and Accounts Manager

Location: Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):

• Supervise the AP process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices.
• Monitor vendor payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and manage periodic reconciliations.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

• Supervise the AR process, including invoicing, collections, and customer reconciliations.
• Track receivables and ensure timely collections to maintain cash flow.
• Address and resolve customer queries related to invoicing and payments.

Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, and other regulatory filings.
• Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities for financial and compliance-related matters.
• Implement processes to ensure financial operations are in line with company policies.

Management Information Systems (MIS):

• Prepare, analyze, and present periodic MIS reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Provide actionable insights from financial data to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team handling AP, AR, and compliance.
• Allocate tasks effectively and ensure the team meets deadlines.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback for skill enhancement.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; CA Inter, CA or MBA in Finance preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in finance operations and team management.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP is highly advantageous.

Communication:

• Written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
