Technical Software Architect (Lending Systems - LOS, LMS & CMS)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Software Architect with expertise in designing, developing, and implementing lending solutions, including Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan Management Systems (LMS), and Collateral Management Systems (CMS). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical architecture of our lending platform and driving the evolution of our products in the fintech domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, architecture, and technical strategy for Lending Systems, including LOS, LMS, CMS, and related modules.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and robust technical solutions.
• Define and enforce best practices for software development, code quality, security, and system scalability across all lending applications.
• Architect and implement system integrations with external systems (e.g., credit bureaus, payment gateways, financial institutions) and ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
• Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and design to deployment and post-production support.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams, offering guidance on complex technical issues and ensuring adherence to the architectural vision.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, security protocols, and data privacy standards in all lending systems.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and tools to improve system performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimize the architecture for high availability and reliability.
• Drive the continuous improvement of the platform by leveraging industry trends, modern cloud technologies, and microservices-based architectures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge in Java Programming
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Software Architect or similar role, with a focus on lending systems such as LOS, LMS, CMS, and other financial applications.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end solutions for financial services and lending domains.
• Solid understanding of core financial products, workflows, and the lending lifecycle (loan origination, servicing, collections, etc.).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architectures.
• Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API development, and service-oriented architectures (SOA).
• Strong background in backend technologies and databases, including relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with front-end technologies, UI/UX principles, and designing intuitive interfaces for loan processing and collateral management systems.
• Expertise in implementing security practices to protect sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies and leading cross-functional development teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior developers and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial industry standards, compliance regulations, and integrations with credit bureaus or other financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge in Java Programming
• Familiarity with AI/ML applications in lending, such as credit scoring or risk assessment algorithms.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in SaaS-based lending platforms or digital lending transformations.
