Role & responsibilities

India entity responsibilities

○ End-to-end ownership of India entity financial reporting: including processing transactions and payments, GL management, preparing management accounts, balance sheet and reporting

○ Oversee outsourced tax, audit and filings

Group responsibilities:

• Process purchase invoices and approvals across the group, with a view to standardise / automate the process and increase efficiency
• Process sales invoices and approvals, with a view to standardise / automate the process and increase efficiency
• Maintain customer records including changes to billing information and manage customer queries on invoices
• Various reconciliation activities
• Other monthly reporting activities as agreed over time

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years post qualified experience (chartered accountant)
• Excellent grasp of English language: written and verbal communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and India GAAP
• Strong knowledge of India tax and reporting requirements
• Proactive with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience using Netsuite is a must; experience using Microsoft Business Central or Xero would be desirable
• Experience using PowerBI
• Strong Excel skills
• Organised and methodical
• Excellent attention to detail
