Accounts Treasury Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Cash Counter Management:
• Handle day-to-day cash counter operations, including cash receipts and disbursements.
• Maintain accurate records of cash transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Reconcile cash balances daily and report discrepancies, if any.
• Payment Processing:
• Process payments for GST, Income Tax, and other statutory dues within stipulated deadlines.
• Handle credit card payments and ensure timely reconciliation.
• Process payments to import vendors and domestic vendors as per agreed terms.
• Verify payment details (e.g., invoices, payment terms, and bank details) before processing.
• Bank Reconciliation:
• Perform automatic bank reconciliation in SAP to ensure accuracy between bank statements and ledger entries.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain up-to-date records of reconciled transactions.
• Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to treasury operations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Coordination and Communication:
• Liaise with banks, vendors, and internal departments to resolve payment-related queries.
• Collaborate with the accounts team to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Additional certification (e.g., SAP certification) is a plus.
• Experience:

• Hands-on experience with SAP (especially automatic bank reconciliation and payment modules).
