Roles and responsibilty
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements for Private Equity funds in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings (e.g., AIFMD, Form PF, FATCA, CRS) to ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and third-party administrators to manage financial audits and tax reporting.
- Analyze and interpret complex financial data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining financial reporting systems, including process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated on new accounting and regulatory requirements affecting Private Equity funds.
- Collaborate with internal teams (investment, tax, legal) to support fund operations and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Support ad hoc projects related to financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in financial reporting or regulatory compliance, preferably within Private Equity, Investment Management, or Big 4 accounting firms.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory frameworks (AIFMD, FATCA, Form PF, etc.).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems; experience with fund accounting software (e.g., Investran, eFront) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
