Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Financial Analyst with a CA Inter qualification to join our Finance team at Nestaway. The ideal candidate will support financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, contributing to the efficient and effective financial management of the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist in preparing financial reports, and ensure the smooth execution of financial processes in line with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial reports, variance analysis, and other financial documents for senior management.
• Perform detailed financial analysis, identifying trends, cost-saving opportunities, and risks.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial projections.
• Track financial performance against budgeted targets and identify variances.
• Analyze operational costs and suggest strategies for cost reduction and better financial management.
• Collaborate with the operations team to analyze cost-effective measures.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in developing strategies to optimize working capital.
• Create and maintain financial models for decision-making purposes.
• Support scenario analysis and financial forecasting.
• Assist with GST and TDS calculations, filing, and compliance.
• Ensure that financial records adhere to legal standards and organizational policies.
• Identify areas for process improvement in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Support the automation of financial processes and reporting tools.
• Work closely with different departments to gather and analyze financial data, assisting in informed decision-making.
• Provide financial insights to support business strategies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• CA Inter with a strong foundation in financial analysis and accounting principles.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
• Experience in financial modeling and business analytics.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), and familiarity with ERP systems like Zoho or Tally..
• Knowledge of financial reporting software and analytics tools, metabase queries and Zoho analytics.
• Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and presenting financial data to stakeholders.
• Ability to think critically and offer solutions to complex financial challenges.
