Finance CoE team is based out of Walmart Global tech Bangalore office. This team primarily provides end to end FP&A support to Commercial finance teams supporting Walmart Segments (WM US, Sam s Club, Intl & Corporate Segment).
Position Summary:
Work as part of the Transformation team supporting Sam s Club Finance to deliver a connected finance eco-system - enable tools, processes and data representing "One Source of Truth" for improved reporting, insights and planning so that Finance can move with agility and speed as co-pilots and strategic partners to meet the needs of the business and the member.
What youll do...
work with the various finance teams to help identify data and reporting needs based on current data gaps and pain points
help drive clarity and document requirements for data curation and remediation efforts
work with Product and Technology partners to effectively translate finance requirements
identify appropriate data sources and extract and analyze data writing SQL queries
analyze data and evaluate results to determine accuracy, validity and applicability
user acceptance testing and sign-off in relation to data curation and remediation efforts
support workstreams for the creation of reports and semantic models
assist with the maintenance of rulebooks that drive key finance data assets and reporting
support finance data governance efforts by leaning into data cataloging efforts and leveraging enterprise governance tools
maintain and promote awareness of data quality
What You ll Bring:
Sound knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting concepts
Data and technical skills with the ability to work with large datasets leveraging SQL
Passion for problem-solving, an analytical mindset with critical-thinking
Good coordination skills working with multiple finance teams and across Business, Product and Engineering on multiple projects
Good communication skills and ability to effectively translate technical and business concepts
Adaptability and ability to pivot quickly to effectively navigate challenges and roadblocks
