Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SailPoint Data Cleansing Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SailPoint IdentityIQ (or similar IAM platform) and CMDB systems, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

This role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our identity data within SailPoint and our CMDB, directly impacting the effectiveness of our identity governance program.

The specialist will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and executing data cleansing activities, collaborating with the SailPoint application owner and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

- Generate reports and export existing identity records from SailPoint to identify data requiring cleansing, such as orphaned accounts, duplicate profiles, and inaccurate attribute values.

- Develop and maintain custom reports to proactively monitor data quality and identify potential issues.

- Utilize SailPoint reporting capabilities and potentially scripting (e.g , BeanShell) to automate data extraction and analysis.

- Compare data exports from ServiceNow (or other CMDB) and SailPoint to pinpoint discrepancies in identity information.

- Identify records requiring correction in both the SailPoint application and the CMDB, including discrepancies in user attributes, entitlements, and access certifications.

- Analyze discrepancies to understand their root causes and recommend preventative measures.

- Analyze identified records and assess dependencies within the SailPoint application, including roles, entitlements, and access certifications.

- Evaluate the potential impact of data cleansing activities on downstream systems and processes.

- Document dependencies and potential risks associated with data changes.

- Collaborate with the SailPoint application owner to define and document standardized procedures for data cleansing activities.

- Develop and maintain data quality metrics and dashboards to track the effectiveness of cleansing efforts.

- Create and update documentation related to data cleansing processes, including runbooks and troubleshooting guides.

- Execute data cleansing tasks within the SailPoint application and CMDB, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

- Utilize SailPoint's administrative interfaces and potentially APIs for bulk data updates and corrections.

- Work with the CMDB team to implement necessary changes and ensure consistency between systems.

- Validate data cleansing results and ensure that all identified issues are resolved.

- Collaborate effectively with the SailPoint application owner, IT security team, and business stakeholders.

- Communicate clearly and concisely regarding data cleansing activities and their potential impact.

- Participate in regular meetings to discuss data quality issues and improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5-7 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) administration, with a focus on data quality and governance.

- Strong understanding of SailPoint IdentityIQ (or similar IAM platform) architecture, functionality, and reporting capabilities.

- Experience with CMDB systems, preferably ServiceNow.

- Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation techniques, including data extraction, comparison, and cleansing.

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g , BeanShell, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other IAM tools and technologies.

- Knowledge of identity governance best practices and compliance requirements.

- Experience with SQL or other database query languages.

- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
