KPS Packaging Planning Specialist

Manages Surprise packaging planning according to defined targets (incl. industrial destructions reduction). Reports to KPS Invalvamento planner for the allocated production in India.

• Plans allocated volumes in operative horizon.
• Supports Invalvamento planner with packaging long term planning & availability.
• Programs production volumes along the scheduling horizon.
• Oversees and manages the stock levels for surprise packaging materials and materials requests to suppliers (call offs).
• Manages regular updates to planning functions and at copacker level.
• Reports periodically KPIs trends on packaging planning.
• Acts as point of reference for surprise- packaging planning & material management.
  

OPERATING PLANNING

• Plans to deliver the packaging material, on time & in full, to fulfill the needs of allocated Invalvamento volumes along the assigned planning horizon (w2 & w16).
• Ensures to highlight potential risks and maps mitigation plans with relevent industrial & KPS cross functions proactively for locally managed invalvamento/productions at copackers.
• Manages, Controls and informs Invalvamento Planning on planned stock levels across surprise side materials

PRODUCTION PROGRAMMING/ SCHEDULING

• Provides call offs of Front valve & Diaphram with spoon to co packers within the scheduling horizon (w0 & w1), for Invalvamento production plan.
• Monitors the schedule execution on defined production per SKU/line/day/shift and ensures to communicate the Planed mitigation action towards any uncertainty observed or communicates the impact on plans to relevent cross functions.
• Optimizes the use of production assets (Thermoforming & Diaphram with spoon machines), particularly defining production staff sizing, thus ensuring the best solution to cost flexibility trade off, in compliance with the defined production budget
• Manages shift patterns & line planning proposals in collaboration with co-packer.
• Establishes and shares with co packer (if any) the production scheduling related to the single co packer, in order to guarantee the achievement of the defined overall production level

MATERIAL MANAGEMENT

• Oversees and manages the stock levels of Surprise packaging goods, managing incomings and materials requests to suppliers (call offs).
• Manages criticalities on the planned productions/stock levels according to the production operating planning horizon for surprise packaging.
• Guides materials management obsolescence, in accordance to Group guidelines

INDUSTRIAL PLANNING SERVICE

• Manages regular updates to KPS planning functions.
• Performs and Facilitates proactive simulations in shift allocation against business cases on regular & need basis to protect/mitigate any potential risks forerseen within operative/S&OP horizon.
• Ensures Root Cause Analysis on Surpise planning topics and performs corrective actions.
• Reports periodically relevant KPIs trends on Planning topics for the managed productions.
• Provides information to the Local and the Central level, on issues that could affect manufacturing schedule fulfillment.
• Manages to propose for foreseen potential expenses for budget (for the ones not mapped through standard consumption in cycles or bill of materials) - eg. PP box purchase needs.
  

EDUCATION
Graduation in Engineering or equivalent technical field with 1-3 years of experience
