Web System Administrator

What you will be doing:

• Reviewing and renewing domain name registrations.
• Managing acquisitions, sales and dispute resolutions and brand support.
• Keeping abreast of upcoming security changes that impact domain portfolio.
• Transferring domains to centralize digital assets as needed.
• Adjusting DNS setting, domain setting and nameservers as needed.
• Monitoring, recommending and alerting security on potential threats.
• Manage domain security including SSL cert renewal.
• Manage monthly domain/SSL certificate meeting with IT to review upcoming renewals.
• Single point of contact for domain/SSL related project and updates working with the appropriate stakeholders.
• Manage access and security of domain repository solutions.
• Work with internal and external business partners that may be in different time zones.
• Ability to work in a fluid environment and manage domains across multiple domain repositories.

What you need to be a success:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in customer-focused, technical support role dealing with both technical and non-technical users.
• 5 years of hands-on experience updating/reviewing domain and SSL certificates for customer facing web sites as well as infrastructure.
• Experience managing projects including internal and external resources.
• Ability to communicate clearly especially in translating technical requirements to stakeholders and business partners.
