Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate numerical models using advanced simulation software, conducting detailed structural analysis of ship components and systems with FEA/CAE tools.
- Analyze and interpret simulation results, providing recommendations to improve designs.
- Prepare, review, and present technical reports and presentations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, identifying new service opportunities to meet market needs.
- Manage client and customer relationships, identifying opportunities for project and service expansion.
- Conduct design reviews, recommend enhancements, and monitor project progress to resolve issues and apply corrective actions as needed.
- Document lessons learned from projects and facilitate regular knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.
- Lead and oversee the engineering analysis team to ensure successful project execution.
- Collaborate with the Head of Department (HoD), department manager, and project stakeholders to address project requirements and challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and designers, developing team skill sets in line with department needs.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 7 to 10 years of experience in shipbuilding or a related industry, with a strong background in FEA/CAE analysis and project coordination.
