Mechanical Design and Development: Design and develop mechanical components and enclosures for EV chargers using CAD tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Thermal and Structural Analysis: Perform thermal and structural analysis (FEA) to validate heat dissipation and mechanical integrity.
Prototyping and Testing: Oversee prototype development and plan testing to validate design functionality and durability.
Material Selection and Manufacturing Support: Select materials for cost-effective, sustainable designs and collaborate on production optimization (DFM/DFA).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with electrical, firmware, and testing teams to integrate mechanical designs with other systems.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including models, BOMs, and test reports.
Qualifications and Experience: 4+ years of experience in mechanical design, with expertise in CAD, FEA, and EV-related manufacturing processes.
