We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FC Manager to oversee the operations of our state-of-the- art fulfilment centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, specifically in ecommerce fulfilment centres, with expertise in inbound and outbound operations, inventory management, process analysis, and continuous improvement. Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of a large-scale ecommerce fulfilment centre.
Manage and optimize inbound processes, ensuring timely receipt and accurate verification of incoming shipments.
Streamline outbound operations, including order picking, packing, and shipping, to meet customer delivery expectations.
Implement efficient inventory management practices, conducting regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
Monitor and maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
Analyze existing warehouse processes to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings.
Design and implement new processes to enhance productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate process improvements across the organization.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to identify performance gaps and areas of improvement within warehouse operations.
Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity, reduce errors, and optimize resource allocation.
Utilize technology and automation solutions to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
Lead a diverse team of warehouse associates, including supervisors, pickers, packers, and inventory controllers.
Set clear performance expectations, provide coaching and training, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, address employee concerns, and implement strategies to enhance team morale and retention.
Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless integration and alignment of operations.
Manage relationships with hyperlocal logistics partners, ensuring timely and efficient last-mile delivery.
Evaluate and select logistics partners based on performance, cost-effectiveness, and service level agreements.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
Proven experience of 5+ years in leading and managing warehouse operations of 5,000+ square feet, preferably in the pharma ecommerce industry.
