Reports To : Senior Manager – PC&L Offshoring

Description :

Our FCM team is looking for a Production Control & Logistics Assistant Manager for its Technical Center at Bhosari, Pune location

The role of a Offshoring Production Control & Logistics Assistant Manager is to manage logistics activities and deploy the Group's Production Control & Logistics (PC&L) policy. The main missions of the role are to:

▪ Ensure customer satisfaction: supervise day to day activities, anticipate customer requirements and maintain good relationships, manage the launch of new programs with the plants globally.

▪ Lead the team and set PC&L objectives.

▪ Ensure adequate staffing, training and development of team members.

▪ Monitor logistics processes: Material Planning, Support plants for SAP processes, Warehousing, Improvement Activities, transportation activities

▪ Monitor logistics performance and implement necessary improvement actions in coordination with plant, division, BG’s and group.

▪ Participate in the development of the PC&L network.

▪ MIS reporting for global regions

▪ Demand Planning and Forecasting

▪ Budgeting – Packaging, transportation, Inventory

▪ Inventory Management and Liquidation.

▪ Setting up of Information Flows – EDI/VIM Flows

▪ Must have managed a team of atleast 4 to 5 people

▪ Supply Chain Analytics

Skills :

▪ Must have good knowledge of SAP MM Module / Ariba (Preferred)

▪ Advanced Excel/Powerpoint

▪ Power BI/ Power Query/Power Automate

▪ Good Leadership Qualities

▪ SupplyChain Analytics

▪ Good Analytical Skills

▪ Strategic Thinking

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have/be:

▪ Bachelor's degree in Engineering

▪ MBA in SCM and Operations - Preferred

▪ Experience in production in an industrial environment is must.

▪ Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
