Digital Transformation Organization is a fast-growing team in charge of providing advanced data solutions for manufacturing excellence and efficiency as well as for smart product development for the automotive industry.

The essential responsibilities and duties

In order to meet rising expectations, we are looking to enrich our team by recruiting a Data Scientist. You will be getting involved in projects ranging from automated quality inspection and manufacturing process optimization to intelligent systems development integrated in our products. For this position, it is necessary a solid track record on applied machine learning including deep learning and reinforcement learning. Also, programming skills are important as we need to deliver production ready software, so proficiency in at least one programming language is expected.

Qualifications and skills

• Level 1-Previous working experience as a Data Scientist minimum 5 years
• Level 2-Previous working experience as a Data Scientist for 3 to 5 years
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Creative thinker with a vision
• Flexibility / capacity of adaptation
• Presentation skills (project reviews with customers and top management)
• Interest in industrial & automotive topics
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work in international teams
• Engineering degree with strong background in mathematics and computer science. A PhD in a quantitative field and/or a minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of traditional machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, SVM, Random Forests, etc.
• Understanding of deep learning techniques
• Understanding and, ideally, experience with Reinforcement Learning methods
• Experience using ML, DL frameworks (Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, Keras, MXNet, etc.)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably python)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English is mandatory Engineering degree A PhD in a quantitative field and/or a minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning is a plus.
