The main missions of the role are: The PLM Engineer is o Doing support level 2 for PLM community (including trainings on the application, documentation update, best practices). o Working on the preparation of new PLM application (specifications, testing, training preparation ). o Working on the migration from legacy PLM to new PLM (specifications, testing, roll out preparation). o He/She works to the R&D DSE CAD/PLM department of Faurecia Seating business group. Key missions and results: Support level 2 on legacy PLM : o PLM training and user support worldwide (documentations, methodologies, best practices). o Organization and definition of data structures and interfaces for/between the different tools. o Data setting regarding the needs of the different customer divisions. o PLM access rights management. o CAD -> PLM Integration (CATIAV5, NX-UG). o Interface between Engineering IT support level 3 and R&D users for problem correction. On new PLM application (Teamcenter): o To manage the database of requests for corrections / improvements. o Preparing the specifications for main PLM modules of Teamcenter platform like: CATIA V5 integration; NX-UG integration; EBOM-CADBOM management; Data extraction scripts; Joint Venture and security context; o To prepare and lead meetings on: Workshop preparation (UAT, pilots, specification reviews, scenarios creation, etc ); User Acceptance Tests weekly follow-up. Preparing the specifications for data migration between the legacy PLM and the new PLM. o Prepare and execute the migration process: Mapping and sequences of data migration; Validation tests; Meetings with the IT developers to refine the migration scripts. As the rest of the team, support the deployment: training documentation and planning. o Track the deployment ramp-up and do the support level 2 of the users on the new PLM and also on the legacy PLM till its End of Life. Skills & Attributes: o Good knowledge in CATIA V5 and NX-UG. o Minimum bi-lingual: good English required to provide trainings. o Good skills in Teamcenter PLM management and Teamcenter modules. o Knowledge of support tools and procedures. o Knowledge of seat components, structure and automobile terminology is a bonus value. o Leadership skills, Management skills required - Remote communication. o International mind set. o Team player with strong communication skills, o Ability to take initiative, rigor and reactivity o Flexible to work in shifts
Qualifications o Bachelor degree in Mechanical/automobile engineering. o Degree in engineering (Master diploma or equivalent), preferably with a specialization in PLM systems/ CAD. o With a background of over 3 years in Teamcenter functional administration
