Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PHP Backend Coordinator with 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a PHP Backend Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless development and execution of backend systems, working closely with senior backend developers and managing a team of developers. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, with a passion for coding and driving best practices in backend development.
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development: Lead the backend development efforts using PHP, ensuring code quality,
scalability, and performance optimization for web applications.
Team Coordination: Manage, mentor, and guide junior backend developers, ensuring they follow best practices and maintain high coding standards.
Project Management: Assist in project planning and coordination, ensuring timely delivery of backend components and features, while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Code Review: Conduct code reviews for team members, providing constructive feedback and
promoting adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Collaboration: Work in close collaboration with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to ensure smooth integration of backend services with frontend interfaces.
Database Management: Oversee the design and management of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.), ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex backend issues, troubleshoot performance
bottlenecks, and propose solutions to improve system efficiency.
Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for backend processes, APIs, and system architecture.
Continuous Improvement: Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in backend
development, incorporating them to enhance the team's capabilities.
Requirements:
Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in PHP backend development.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of PHP and PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc.).
Experience with RESTful APIs and Web Services.
Strong proficiency in database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
Experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) is a plus.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle backend challenges effectively.
Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with
various teams across the organization.
Leadership: Ability to lead a team, provide guidance, and ensure effective project execution.
