Egg Farm Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for managing overall egg procurement activities by implementing cost effective methods of purchasing goods and services in coordination with eggs farms, sales function and finance departments for timely delivery of sales orders.

2. Responsible for taking the ownership for pan-India Eggs operations to maintain proper supply and demand balance and to build a good stakeholder relationship for superior customer satisfaction.

3. Responsible for managing contracts of Eggs farms through a team of farm supervisors for ensuring on-going operation feasibility.

4. Ensure to monitor the farm capacity for meeting the demand and supply level and source new farms/new markets to engage reliable suppliers and vendors in coordination with procurement team.

5. Responsible for managing the purchase of eggs following flow-through model to aid in zero holding of Eggs by receiving orders from Sales team/Customers.

6. Ensure to manage the cleaning and packing of Eggs in adherence to SOPs for supporting timely dispatch and delivery of the orders with high quality in coordination with plant heads and farm supervisors.

7. Ensure to maintain sufficient stocks of Packing material at all farms and verify 100% stock accuracy of all Suguna assets/packing material in coordination with farm supervisor.

8. Ensure all farms are compliant with all statutory laws (including and not limited to FSSAI, GST and Packaging laws) for seamless operations in coordination with reporting manager and farm supervisors.

9. Responsible for arranging feed/premix to the Farms from Suguna Feed Mills for continuous egg productivity as per standards in coordination with cross functional teams.

10. Responsible for timely payments to farms, transporters, and vendors in coordination with accounts team by accounting farm invoices and raising purchase orders periodically.

11. Responsible for addressing and resolving consumer and customer complaints to meet their expectations and improve products.

Responsible for preparing and publishing periodic reports on logistics, orders received and executed, fill rate etc to plan for future operations in coordination with reporting manager and plant heads.
