Fanatics - Software Frontend Engineer III - Javascript Frameworks (3-5 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Frontend Engineer - III to join our growing team.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and performant web applications.

This role requires a strong understanding of modern frontend technologies, experience with various frameworks and libraries, and a passion for building exceptional user experiences.

You will collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver innovative and user friendly products.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain complex web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (e., React, Angular, Vue.js).

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

- Implement responsive and cross-browser compatible user interfaces.

- Integrate with backend APIs and services using RESTful principles.

- Implement state management solutions for complex applications.

- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.

- Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional components.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

- Participate in Agile development methodologies.

- Write unit and integration tests.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in frontend development.

Technical Skills (Mandatory) :

- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), including asynchronous programming, promises, closures, and design patterns.

- Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design principles, CSS preprocessors (e., Sass, Less), and CSS frameworks (e., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).

- Proficient in at least one major JavaScript framework (e., React, Angular, Vue.js) and its ecosystem.

- Demonstrate deep understanding of core concepts like components, state management, routing, and data binding.

- Experience with state management libraries (e., Redux, Context API, Vuex, MobX) for complex applications.

- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating them into frontend applications.

- Proficient in using Git for version control.

Technical Skills (Added Advantage) :

- Experience with TypeScript for type safety and improved code maintainability.

- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Parcel, or Rollup.

- Experience in optimizing frontend application performance, including code splitting, lazy loading, and image optimization.

- Understanding of SSR concepts and experience with frameworks like Next.js or Nuxt.js.

- Knowledge of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and experience building accessible web applications.
