- Judgmental on energy performance of various P&M and action to improve the efficiency
- Ensuring 100% implementation and adherence of HSE standards at site
- People manager to lead technical team, hiring right resource
Job Description
- To achieve excellence in preventive maintenance programs at site with highest standards and ensure energy conservation practices.
- Assist the Group Chief Engineer in managing M&E scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables within the stipulated time.
- Assist in providing comprehensive facility, contract and procurement management for technical services to the client.
- Contribute to achieving financial and other targets established by the Group Chief Engineer.
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators and service level agreements targets.
- Coordination for the day to day operations & maintenance activities.
- To Maintain Critical Area and General Area Business Uptime above TUI.
- Management & Reporting of Building Incidents as per the client guidelines.
- Implementation of Annual Power down for respective sites as per client guidelines
Key Performance Indicators
- Provide coverage for the Facilities Manager/Group Chief Engineer when he is away.
- Create the asset register of all equipment on client Site.
- Plan and manage the budgets for Engineering & Operational contracts.
- Prepare planned preventive maintenance schedules for all critical equipment.
- Ensure RFC is planned two weeks in advance for all PPM activities.
- Ensure no work is carried out during business hours and weekdays unless it is critical in nature and approved by CEM head.
- Ensure not a single critical activity is carried out without proper RFC in place.
- Support the Group Chief Engineer in preparing the commercial terms and conditions as applicable to plant and equipment service providers.
- Monitor & evaluate M&E vendor for services, statutory compliance.
- CEM Induction to be given to all critical contractors and NDC to be signed.
- Prepare the job descriptions of all technical staff and support them in their day today functions.
- Support the Group Chief Engineer in developing the standard operating procedures manuals.
- Provide specialist advice to the technical team as and when required.
- Carry out Technical Audits for all installations at periodical intervals;
- Review stock levels of the required inventory of spares on site.
- Analyse call outs to understand trends; undertake strategic initiatives to minimize the same.
- All Building Incidents needs to be managed appropriately to reduce impact. Escalation & reporting of Building Incidents as per the client guidelines.
- Attend BIR calls and ensure timely closure of BIRs post taking required corrective actions.
- All incidents to be attended post raising emergency RFCs and required approval from CEM head.
- Conduct Annual Power down once in a year for respective sites as per client guidelines.
- Maintain and record power down documents.
- Support the Group Chief Engineer in preparing the contingency plan to deal with emergencies.
- Advise the Group Chief Engineer in preparing the future operation & maintenance budgets.
- Identify and implement energy conversation initiatives.
- Support the Group Chief Engineer in preparing the management reports.
- Ensure Global Market Power Point survey is completed every quarter to ensure that traders are connected on UPS Power.
- Review of trend analysis to identify areas of service improvement.
- As a part of Vendor Management Program, conduct monthly & quarterly meeting, reviews and performance assessment of technical vendors.
- Support Group Chief Engineer in identifying training needs of the technical team.
- Responsible for preparation of critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturers recommendations and plan for the inventory where the maintenance is carried out with in-house teams.
- Conduct critical spare audits for all critical vendor to make sure they are maintaining the inventory at their end as a part of AMC SLA.
- Implement and oversee the preventive maintenance programe to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipments.
- To review the maintenance /service practices of M&E contracts to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations.
- Ensure Contractors always follow the house rules, and the projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the client.
- To ensure E&M operational SLA reports are prepared as per the specified time and sent across.
- Carry out feasibility and support restack team for all kind of modification from CEM perspective.

Qualification/Skills required
- Graduate engineer in electrical / mechanical discipline.
- 10 12 years experience in facilities management.
- Proven ability to handle electrical & mechanical functions effectively.
- Proven ability to initiate and follow through with energy saving measures.
