Our 400-acre farm is certified under GlobalGAP, GRASP, and SMETA standards, ensuring that our operations adhere to the highest quality and sustainability benchmarks.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our farm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in farm management, with a strong emphasis on production, quality control, and business administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive farm management plans, including production schedules, resource allocation, and quality control measures.
• Oversee all aspects of farm operations, including vegetable production, avocado orchard management, packhouse operations, and cold chain management.
• Manage and coordinate farm staff, ensuring efficient and effective teamwork.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and optimize yields.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., GlobalGAP, GRASP, SMETA).
• Develop and implement strategies for expanding the farm's operations and increasing profitability.
• Manage the farm's budget and financial resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or a related field.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Farm Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Farm Manager.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Production Manager.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, including crop management, irrigation, and pest control.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
