Seeking a Legal Entity Controller or a Financial Controller with extensive expertise in UK accounting practices to oversee financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory obligations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UK GAAP, exposure to HMRC procedures, Company House Compliance and familiarity with UK tax laws and VAT filings.

Role:

• Financial Control & Reporting:

Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

Manage and oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP.

Oversee the preparation and filing of statutory accounts with Companies House.

• Regulatory Compliance:

Oversee audits and coordinate with external auditors whenever required.

Ensure adherence to HMRC guidelines, including timely submission of UK VAT filings and tax returns.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Adherence to company housing procedures.

• Taxation & VAT Management

Handle UK VAT filings, including input and output VAT reconciliation.

Provide guidance on corporate tax matters and identify opportunities for tax efficiency.

Liaise with tax advisors and ensure compliance with all UK tax obligations.

• Operational Oversight

Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Monitor cash flow, manage budgets, and ensure effective cost control measures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.

• Stakeholder Management

Act as a key point of contact for UK-based clients and stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong relationships with external bodies, including HMRC and Companies House.

Provide regular financial updates and reports to the CFO and senior leadership team

Professional Qualification:

✓ CA, ACCA or CPA is essential.

Experience:

✓ Minimum 10 years of experience in financial management, accounting, and compliance.

✓Demonstrated exposure to working with UK-based companies, KPOs, or UK clients.

Technical Skills:

✓In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP, HMRC procedures, and UK tax laws.

✓Proficiency in UK VAT filings and Company House procedures.

✓Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
