Overview: This Role's responsibilities are: financial budgeting, procurement strategy, and people management. It entails overseeing Profit & Loss metrics from a purchasing standpoint, ensuring adherence to budgets, and presenting annual forecasts. Additionally, the position involves cultivating relationships with suppliers, vendors, negotiating contracts, and monitoring market trends to optimize value and uphold quality standards. Formulation of procurement strategies aligned with business goals.

The ideal requirements are experience in procurement at global level and preferred someone dealt with eye care products like Glasses, Sunglasses, Contact Lenses with strong negotiation skills, and leadership abilities along with analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track Profit & Loss metrics from a purchasing perspective.

• Own Purchasing and cost estimating budgets, ensuring alignment with expectations and legal requirements.

• Develop and present annual Purchasing budgets and forecasts, managing project budgets from inception to completion.

• Cultivate relationships with key suppliers, vendors, leading negotiations for favorable terms.

• Monitor market trends and collaborate with vendors to optimize value.

• Establish supplier relationship management systems to ensure compliance.

• Oversee Purchasing and Cost Estimating activities, developing comprehensive strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Address business challenges and contribute to overall business strategy and budgeting processes.

• Lead and guide purchase departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Define departmental objectives and facilitate open communication channels.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.

• Maintain strong relationships with global vendors and suppliers.

• Communicate market changes and contribute to new business initiatives.

Qualifications:

✓Bachelors degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, Masters is a Plus.

✓8-15 years of proven experience in Global Procurement, Purchase or Supply Chain Management.

✓Strong negotiation skills and relationship-building abilities.

✓In-depth knowledge of global level procurement processes and regulations.

✓Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

✓Certification in procurement or supply chain management is desirable.
