Job Description
- 6+ years of relevant working experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
- Must Have: Administration Experience in services like Gitlab, Gitlab Runners (pipelines), Jfrog Artifactory, Checkmarx is required.
- Must Have: Experience in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes administration experience, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting is required.
- Must Have: Automation: Adapt an automation approach to solving problems.
- Experience in scripting with any of Shell / Python is required.
- Experience in any configuration tools like Ansible/ Chef / Puppet is required.
- Exposure to any programming language is a plus.
- Monitoring: Experience in any Monitoring tool like - Datadog / Prometheus / Grafana / Splunk is required.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the cloud providers - AWS/Azure.
- Exposure to Vulnerability management tools, like Qualys is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues, including systems failures, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive knowledge bases for system documentation, including standard operating procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides, to support end-users ability to use the systems effectively.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Responsible for upholding F5 s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What You ll Bring
- Typically requires a bachelor s degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience in SRE role. Or an advanced degree with relevant work experience in SRE role.
- Proficiency with at least one scripting and programming language.
- A code-first approach to managing CES services.
- Proficiency in Agile delivery, SRE principles and associated tools and technologies.
- Knowledge in technology systems including infrastructure or SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory guidelines.
- Understanding cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as an integral member of an agile team
- Proficient communication, planning, problem solving, trouble shooting, and organization skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines
