Senior BI Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Qlik Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in Qlik technologies, including Qlik Reporting, Modeling, Visualization, and Scripting. The candidate should be proficient in building complex data models, creating interactive dashboards, and leveraging advanced Qlik functionalities like Alerting, NPrinting, and QMC for robust business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Qlik Development: Design, develop, and maintain QlikView and Qlik Sense dashboards and reports with a strong focus on user experience and usability.
• Data Modeling: Develop and implement complex data models for Qlik applications ensuring the efficiency and scalability of the solution.
• Scripting: Write and optimize Qlik scripting to load, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Visualization: Create highly interactive visualizations and reports based on business requirements, applying best practices in Qlik.
• Alerting NPrinting: Implement Qlik alerting for proactive monitoring and set up NPrinting for automated report distribution.
• Qlik Management Console (QMC): Manage Qlik server, users, and tasks through QMC to ensure optimal performance.
• Extensions: Develop or integrate custom Qlik extensions to enhance visualizations and functionalities as per the project needs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders and team members to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Qlik solutions.
• Testing Troubleshooting: Ensure the quality and accuracy of Qlik applications through rigorous testing and troubleshooting.

Roles Responsibilities

Required Skills Experience:

• Qlik Expertise: 6+ years of hands-on experience in QlikView and Qlik Sense, including extensive knowledge of Qlik reporting, modeling, scripting, and visualization techniques.
• Advanced Data Modeling: Strong experience in designing and implementing complex data models in Qlik, with the ability to optimize performance and data load efficiency.
• Qlik Scripting Expressions: In-depth knowledge of Qlik scripting language, including set analysis, variables, data load scripting, and data transformations.
• Alerting NPrinting: Hands-on experience with Qlik alerting and NPrinting for scheduling and report generation.
• QMC Management: Familiarity with Qlik Management Console (QMC) for user management, task creation, and server performance monitoring.
• Qlik Extensions: Experience in using and creating Qlik extensions for advanced reporting and visualization.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design and deliver complex business intelligence solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certification in QlikView or Qlik Sense is a plus.
• Experience with additional BI tools or technologies is a bonus.
