Technical Project Manager- ADAS-Chennai

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project/Program Manager ADAS to lead the development, integration, and validation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in ADAS architectures, perception algorithms, and embedded systems, combined with strong leadership and project management skills. This role involves driving cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of ADAS features while adhering to industry safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical roadmap and architecture for ADAS development, ensuring alignment with industry trends and customer requirements.
• Provide strategic direction in the design, development, and deployment of ADAS features
• Ensure ADAS system performance, scalability, and reliability through robust design practices and testing
• Lead and mentor a team of system engineers, software developers, and validation engineers working on ADAS technologies.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Manage team workload, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Support skill development and career growth of team members through training and mentorship programs
• Oversee the end-to-end system development of ADAS solutions, including architecture, algorithm development, and software integration
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for ADAS-related projects, engaging with customers and suppliers
• Define project schedules, budgets, and resource plans while mitigating risks and ensuring project success.
• Work closely with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to align product specifications and integration requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

Essential skills

• Expertise in ADAS feature development (e.g., ACC, LKA, AEB, Traffic Sign Recognition, Parking Assistance)
• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Ability to work in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and business presentations.
• Experience working with Tier-1 suppliers and OEMs
