Automation Testing - SDET

Senior Automation Test Engineer (SDET) with expertise in Test Automation - Playwright with C#, Specflow, API testing tools like Postman/SoapUI.

5-8 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, adapt and enhance the selected test automation framework to the needs of the project.
• Automate the current manual regression pack.
• Responsible to the continuous execution of the regression pack as required and providing a comprehensive report.
• Log any defects identified in line with established defect process.
• Work with the squad to understand the new features being implemented and create automated scripts as required.
• Work with the wider Hiscox test and DevOps team to make sure the test automations scripts are integrated with various pipelines and test management tools.
• Work with the wider SDET team to continue to develop and enhance the test automation framework as required.
• Work with the squad to define and include a continuous test automation approach in the current test strategy.
• Occasionally the SDET will be expected to help with manual test execution scripts.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

• 5-8 years of experience.

Required Skills:

• Automation - Strong Playwright with C#, API testing tools like Postman/SoapUI.
• Experience in Specflow.
• Experience in Azure.
• Experience implementing test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience in working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Must be able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
