Oracle Developer

• Key Responsibilities

• Job Scheduling and Monitoring
• Schedule, run, and monitor Oracle jobs (manual and automated) to ensure timely completion.
• Manage the Talend-based automation workflows and promptly address any failures or performance issues.
• Data Extraction and Reporting
• Extract data from various data sources to produce daily, weekly, and monthly Excel reports.
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of report outputs before distribution to relevant stakeholders.
• Development and Maintenance
• Write, maintain, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code, queries, and stored procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to improve existing scripts and automation processes.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution
• Investigate data discrepancies, job failures, or performance bottlenecks.
• Provide timely resolutions and implement best practices to prevent future occurrences.
• Documentation
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of job schedules, scripts, and processes.
• Update runbooks to reflect any changes to workflows or configurations.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with the Power BI developer to ensure data consistency and availability for dashboard reporting.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify issues, and deliver insights.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology
• 1-3 years of professional experience working with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.

• Technical Skills
• Oracle PL/SQL: Strong understanding of queries, stored procedures, functions, and optimization techniques.
• Data Integration: Familiarity with open-source Talend for ETL/ELT processes or similar data integration tools.
• Reporting: Experience generating and handling Excel-based reports, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
• Job Scheduling: Exposure to job scheduling frameworks or tools (e.g., Oracle Scheduler, crontab, or enterprise schedulers).

• Nice-to-Have
• Basic understanding of Power BI or other BI tools.
• Experience working with financial datasets or FinOne system knowledge.
