Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated technical writer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) Product organization. Your duties will include updating and managing the companys existing knowledge base regularly and working with developers to create new documents as we release new products and services.
Responsibilities Include:
Create and refine Integration, Configuration, and Administration guides and other various materials for various products and services
Edit and enhance API documentation for our developer community
Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
Suggest best practices and optimizations throughout content generation projects
Collaborate with fellow technical communicators to develop new approaches for creating more precise and engaging knowledge base articles for the company
Manage complex information and multiple projects within content specifications and budget restrictions
Use company brand voice and messaging for written pieces to reinforce the company culture
QA content for errors
Implement comprehensive technical documentation, feedback, and changes whenever possible
Required Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelors degree in relevant technical field
4+ years of experience in technical writing or software documentation
Proficiency in word processor programs such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs and PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat
Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, standards, and frameworks (i.e. SAML, FIDO2, OIDC, OAUTH, PKI)
Attention to detail
Fluency in English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills
Time management and organizational skills
Familiarity with API documentation preferred
